Privacy Policy
Last updated: 06 March 2023
Find the Privacy Policy for using the website and its features below. We store and manage a variety of personal data about our users. We want you to know what we do with your data and why we store it.
Generally
We'll store your information until you delete your account. If you deactivate your profile, your information is immediately removed from public view and purged regularly the next night. Only your forum postings remain, but all references to your profile (aside from the profile name) vanish. We provide continuous backups, saving the data for a set period before it is automatically destroyed, so Pibilo can be recreated after a system crash.
What kind of information do we keep?
We save the information you give us when you create and use your profile, along with your messages, photos, and other content:
- User name
- Password
- Email address
- Gender
- Body information
- What exactly you are looking for
- Photographs you add to your profile (profile pictures, gallery images)
- Profile text
- Phone number
Information we collect automatically
Every time you log in, we save your IP address and the login time — partly for statistics, but also to assist you if your profile is misused. We keep track of your browser identification for analytics and support so we can troubleshoot more effectively. We also record which profiles you've viewed; these records are kept for seven days before being erased. We keep track of your purchases to see what you've bought and when.
Why we keep data
Your data is the foundation of our product; it allows others to find you and you to find them. Some of your information is shared with anyone who views your profile. If you buy an ad, your financial transaction information is saved in the payment gateway — we don't keep any payment card information on our servers. Pibilo is in charge of third-party ad placement and cookies.
Deleting information
After you remove your profile, we keep your information for up to 5 years for accounting purposes, as required by law. If you'd like us to delete all data associated with your profile, please email us.
Your legal rights
You have the right to be informed about the processing of your data, to access your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object. You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting us.
